“Dr Wei is one of the most innovative rheumatologists in the country.” Arthur Weaver, MD, past-President, American College of Rheumatology
Plus...
I’ve also sought out the most talented and respectedauthorities in alternative therapies to serve as my mentors.
The discoveries made in my clinic, the Arthritis andOsteoporosis Center of Maryland, are reflected in both the numerous papers and scientific presentations (literally hundreds of them) but also in the results gotten by the patients who come to see us...
"Before coming to the Arthritis and Osteoporosis Center of Maryland, it was very hard and very uncomfortable to walk even the shortest distance. After being treated for approximately seven years, I now walk an average of 2 1/2 to 5 miles daily. I can say that I am pain free!" Kurt Botker - Thurmont, Maryland
"After years of suffering…I’ve finally been able to use my hands in a normal fashion. Dr. Wei is the best!" Emil Shober - Frederick, Maryland
“Before… I was having a lot of pain in my arm, shoulder, and knee. My cousin had referred me to another doctor, but this doctor was booked up and it was going to be several weeks before I could get an appointment. I couldn’t wait that long! Someone at this doctor’s office referred me to see Dr. Wei. Before coming to AOC, I had lost faith in other doctors. I think he’s a wonderful doctor who is very relaxed and who knows his stuff. ...“ Margretta Fink – Damascus, Maryland
"I have improved physically in my two years. I am able to go on the treadmill, 1 1/2 mile every day. I am involved in swimming exercise and I do all my housework and do steps all day in my home." Iris Korrell - Frederick, Maryland
“I was having a lot of pain in my hands and fingers. I was wearing gloves at night so they would stay warm and to try to keep them from hurting. When I made an appointment to see Dr. Wei, he told me that I had carpal tunnel. He told me about a new procedure called a needle carpal tunnel release. .. I wouldn’t need to be put to sleep, and there would be no incision or long recovery period. In years past, carpal tunnel surgery involved going to the hospital and put to sleep. During the procedure, I felt no pain. I couldn’t believe that I felt no pain as soon as the next day. I’d been putting off this pain for a good while, and I after having knowing I could feel this well and so quickly, I wish I didn’t.” Vernon Keilholtz – Emmitsburg, Maryland
“I’ve been coming to see Dr. Wei since 2000. … A few weeks ago I had excruciating pain in my hip. I couldn’t get into the bath tub without great pain. Two weeks later and with a change in my medications, I am feeling wonderful. I know my body isn’t quite ready for me to start running marathons, but in my head I feel like I could!” Mary Ann Miller – Libertytown, Maryland
"Dr. Wei really took care of my pain. It was hurting so bad that I didn't know what to do. I'm very grateful." Robert Stream - Thurmont, Maryland
"I feel a whole lot better now than I did before I came. Before I came here, I could barely get out of bed and could hardly move." Katheryn Johnson - Walkersville, Maryland
"… I could not walk. I was in a great deal of pain. My whole body was just a mess. And within a month, I did not have any pain in my legs. Each time I would come back to the Arthritis and Osteoporosis Center of Maryland, there would be a tremendous improvement. It's a fact that I've been able to go back to a full life. My family's very thrilled." Sally Keefer - Frederick, Maryland
“My entire left leg was hurting. I spent a lot of time in bed or propped up in a recliner. My husband had to help me all of the time because I could barely walk. When I saw Dr. Wei…he gave me a number of different treatments… Almost immediately I noticed a difference. I couldn’t write before and now I can wiggle my fingers. I still have problems with my walking, and I still have to use my cane, but this morning I didn’t have to use my cane at all. What a great feeling it is, when you become dependent on something…and one day you don’t need it. I praise God for the way I feel and I would recommend Dr. Wei to anyone who feels anything like I have. They’re wonderful and Dr. Wei really works hard to help me feel better.” Donna Rae Miller – Artemus, Pennsylvania

As you can see, The Second Opinion ArthritisTreatment Kit is comprehensive… and it’s written in aconversational manner so you can understand it with no difficulty.
If you were to buy each volume separately, it would cost youmore than $900.00. And it would be worth every cent!
(In fact, my accountant and my rheumatologist mentor both saidit would be worth twice as much!)
But, let’s face it, $900.00 is a lot of money… so I got together withmy rheumatologist mentor, my accountant, and the marketing consultant.
We had a meeting to discuss what to price the program at.
To put it bluntly, the meeting did not go well.
The accountant said I should charge at least $1800.00... myrheumatology mentor said that a more realistic price was about $900.00,and the marketing expert said that in order to maximize sales, I shoulddrop the price to about $500.00.
You can imagine how I felt. But I finally got my head together andsaid... “OK, what’s the lowest price I could sell this information forand still let people know they were getting a good deal withoutcheapening the impression of this product?”
That question stumped them and boy did they argue!. But themarketing guy (who is probably the brightest one of the lot) said, “youcould probably go down as low as $399... maybe $299 rock bottom.”
I said, “That’s still a lot of money... and the economy isprobably going to make people think twice...“They all said, “Don’t sell it for a lower price.”
But I was the one who made the kit and I had the final say. So here iswhat I came up with. The Second Opinion Arthritis Treatment Kit willsell for only $199... Starting January 1, 2009.
I also made the executive decision to offer- as an introductory dealand test - the entire Second Opinion Arthritis Treatment Kitfor $97...

And...I have a favor. I'm asking anyone who purchases theprogram to provide a testimonial about how the Second Opinion ArthritisTreatment Kit is a bargain even at the $199 price.

So here is the question…
I’ve wanted to write about arthritis for many years becausethere are so many people out there who have it… and there’s so much misinformationpresented in places like the internet, TV, radio, and even books inbookstores. It’s sad. It also made me mad.
I figured that if I make good solid information available at aprice anyone can afford, it’ll help a lot of people.
Second, I have a sister and a son who both have arthritis andthey’ve benefited from the advances made in arthritis research. I wantto share their stories and success with you. It’s a way of “givingback.” Hopefully, it’ll provide the “push” for you to get the care youneed.
Think about it. Which do you place a higher value on? Something youpaid money for or something you got for free? Human nature is such thatwe all think something we actually had to pay for- even if it’s only asmall amount like I’m charging- is worth more than free information.
Because if you pay for something, the likelihood is quite goodyou’ll actually use this information. Because that’s what I want you todo. Use it and get yourself or someone you care about better.
It’s your decision now. Invest a little money on somethingthat could save you from a life of pain and misery or ignore thisletter. It’s your call. But if you don’t make the decision to purchase, you’ll regret it. There is no way, place, or time where you’ll ever getsuch an incredible value.
The other question you might have is…
Why do I say that? It’s because much of the information isnew. Not even on the internet yet… or so new that it’s on page 51 ofGoogle. Plus, many of the treatments I describe are not mainstream yet, known only to some of us who are actively involved in clinical researchor who are truly interested in finding about all the latest therapies.
Remember... most arthritis specialists specialize in onearea... rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia... lupus... tendonitis...whatever. If they do that, the likelihood is pretty good they are notup-to-date on the other parts of arthritis treatment.I’ve done the workfor you. Not only with my own experience but with the extensiveresearch involving more than 33 years.
And yes… much of the information you probably could get offthe internet… going from one site to another… maybe finding somethingworthwhile… maybe not.
Sure, you could get to it if you want to spend 10hours a day for the next year clicking your mouse.
Do you want to spend that amount of time clicking a mouse? Isure as heck have a lot better things to do with my time! And when I’mlooking for information, I want reliable up-to-date stuff. Maybeinformation that isn’t common knowledge yet. Don’t you?
And…here’s another thing…
Best regards,
Nathan Wei, MD, FACP, FACR
P.S. Arthritis can be treated best when you start at the “I just have a little pain in my knee” stage, before there is any permanent damage!
P.P.S. With every order of the Second Opinion Arthritis Treatment Kit, you get the three extra bonus volumes:
Volume 25: “How you can get free medical care... freemedications...and outsmart arthritis at the same time!”...The importantrole of clinical research... (Value: $29.95)
Volume 26: “Exercise Secrets for Arthritis Sufferers” (Value:$29.95)
Volume 27: “Insider Tips for Activities of Daily Living!”(Value: $39.95)
These 3 bonuses alone are worth more than the $97 you’re investing.
P.P.P.S. And what about my sister, Esther? It took awhile to get her disease straightened out. She eventually got started on the right treatment after her diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis was confirmed. She and her husband Bob were fortunate enough to have a child. Max is now a healthy 17 year old and is a rabid New York Yankees fan.
In November 2004, Esther ran the New York CityMarathon in a time of four hours and twenty-two minutes!!!

"I started coming to see Dr. Wei after my wife had passed away. I wasn’t eating or taking good care of myself and my body started going downhill fast. I was having a lot of pain so my family doctor recommended Dr. Wei. After making my appointment to see him, Dr. Wei sent me for a lot of different tests. He made his diagnosis and started me on different medications. I started feeling and getting better. Dr. Wei has helped me a great deal. I always tell him that if it wasn’t for him, I don’t think I would be around anymore!!! I am feeling pretty good!!!" Robert Harris - Frederick, Maryland
“I had horrible pain in my shoulder. I couldn’t use my arm. I heard about a new procedure, which I thought was better than the traditional surgery. I did not want to have to go to the hospital. The procedure took about 20 minutes, there was no pain. My arm was in a sling for about three weeks, and I feel much better. I’ve already recommended this to several of my friends because I’m not experiencing pain in my arm and able to use it again.” Clara Brown – Hagerstown, Maryland
“At my appointment with Dr. Wei, he was able to provide a name to my aches and swelling and started me on a new drug… It’s been a miracle in how much this has helped. I can do the things that I enjoy, I have more stamina, and the change has been a miracle! I’ve been a patient for almost 6 years. Dr. Wei gives me relief, his staff are warm and helpful. I recommend anyone who experiences similar symptoms to see Dr. Wei.” Kathleen Krantz – Frederick, Maryland
“When I first came to see Dr. Wei, I was having problems walking. Now I am doing much better since I see Dr. Wei on a regular basis. My diagnosis was quick!” Jane Read - Frederick, Maryland
“I was feeling terrible. My pain level was almost to a ten, it was very bad. Dr. Wei recommended I try a treatment for low back pain. I started the treatment. I can do more now. Before, my activity level was very limiting that I couldn’t even lift my granddaughter and that was depressing. But the treatment has helped me with that as well. I found Dr. Wei’s office to be very efficient and everyone is very friendly. I actually look forward to going there! I feel much, much better and am doing more again. I’ve referred someone to Dr. Wei because I’m doing great. I thank you Dr. Wei so much!” Mary Allen - Jefferson, Maryland
“It seemed like all I did was drag around. I couldn’t move at all because of the pain. My knees were weak. All I did was sit in a chair all day because it was too much trouble to move. I was really worried that I would get to the point that I wouldn’t be able to get up and about. I just wanted to sit still. My wife finally got me to see Dr. Wei because I was hesitant. When I did come to see Dr. Wei what a surprise. My shoulders and arms feel wonderful. My knees are sometimes weak but nothing compared to what they were before Dr. Wei! Dr. Wei gave me a shot in my knees and the pain is almost gone. Last week I was able to wash my car and that is something I haven’t done for years! It felt great!” Carl Paulsgrove - Hagerstown, Maryland
“I was just feeling lousy. I had been doctoring this horrible pain for a whole year until a friend of mine who sees Dr. Wei referred me to him. Dr. Wei said I needed a new hip. He couldn’t do anything about my hip but he did a procedure on my knee and it really has left me feeling better! I’m much better than I was by 100%!” Alice Cobb - Hagerstown, Maryland

"My problems began about seven years ago with a gradual worsening of my physical condition. It got to the point in 1995 where my pain was actually so severe that I had to quit my job because I hurt so bad. I was in such bad shape that I couldn't support myself financially because of the pain. There would be so many days where I was in horrible pain that I would spend days in bed unable to move. On the days that I was able to get out of bed, it would take me hours to do it. It was terrible. I was at my end. Then in 1995 I came to the Arthritis and Osteoporosis Center of Maryland for help. Within a couple of months and several medication changes, I started to see some relief. I have been pain free for about a year now. Sometimes when the weather changes I have slight pain, but other than that I don't. I am now a full time student and have my life back together now. Thank you” Therese McKinney - Taneytown, Maryland
"I'vebeen coming to Dr. Wei for approximately six yearsnow. I hadpain all over to the point where I couldn't even go shopping - whichreally cramped my style! I was in and out of a wheelchair because ofthe pain I had in my legs, back and feet, basically from the waistdown. When building our house, we even had it built so it was handicapaccessible because of my wheelchair. I couldn't stand to walk and feltfatigued almost all the time. I began to feel better and stopped comingfor a while because I lived so far away. But needless to say, Ireturned to Dr. Wei and my knee now feels 100% better. I travel over anhour one way to come to AOC because I feel it is so progressive here.In fact, some of the treatments offered at AOC are not available inYork. I know that if I hadn't come to see Dr. Wei that I woulddefinitely be in a wheelchair all the time. I have no problems withdoing any kind of daily activities and even enjoy shopping once again!" Doris Flaharty - York, Pennsylvania
"I was very, very sick with a great deal of pain all through my body. My rheumatoid symptoms were quite active and got progressively worse as the months went by. About six years ago as the pain kept getting worse, I came to see Dr. Wei. It was quite a slow process trying to find out the best treatment for me. All during that time though, I think that Dr. Wei helped me to not give up and keep trying. He helped me to realize just how serious my disease really was. And that the disease itself probably wasn't going to respond quickly to treatment. I feel that not only Dr. Wei, but the whole staff of the AOC of Maryland has been very encouraging to me. Since starting the Enbrel, I have seen a marked improvement in my mobility with lessening of my pain." Patricia Mascaro - Frederick, Maryland
"It's very comforting to know that the doctor is always accessible to you when you need him. It's not like going to a big clinic and you're not sure who you will see at that visit, whether it's a doctor or an intern. I also love to come to Dr. Wei's seminars because they are very informative and he doesn't talk down to you. He talks to you with terminology that a person at any level could understand without patronizing you. I feel that he stays on the forefront of his specialty and he knows what's going on and the latest available treatment. Once in a while I have a flare, but I feel comfortable with the fact that everything is being done for me that is possible. My life is definitely better and I recommend Dr. Wei to people I know whenever I can." Kathleen McLaughlin - Middletown, Maryland
