Arthritis cure
The reason is that there are more than 100 different types of arthritis and each is treated differently.
Some forms of arthritis are curable. An example would be septic arthritis where a bacteria is responsible. The appropriate antibiotic and drainage procedure can effect a cure.
Another example might be early Lyme disease where, again, early antibiotic therapy might lead to a cure. For the vast majority of arthritis problems, there is not cure. That isn’t to say a remission isn’t possible because it is.
For instance, gout, a type of arthritis due to monosodium urate is entirely controllable with medicines in many cases.
With the new biologic therapies, disease such as ankylosing spondylitis and psoriatic arthritis are also controllable. Even with formerly devastating types of arthritis such as rheumatoid disease, remission is not only possible but is oftentimes a reality.
Sadly, more common types of arthritis such as osteoarthritis- wear and tear arthritis- don’t not have a cure. A cure would not only have to slow down the progression of disease but also repair the damage that has been done. At this moment, when the cartilage is worn away, there is no suitable replacement short of metal and plastic replacements.
That reality is still off in the future.
Fortunately, research is being conducted on both RA and OA so that the possibility of a cure still remains.
Until that time comes though, be wary of people who offer you a cure.
They are fooling you.
